Is the GPO the best freeride ski in our lineup? It might be. With several wins on the Freeride World Tour, on the feet of both Drew Tabke and Lars Chickering-Ayers, the GPO certainly has proven itself in that venue. But what makes the GPO so great? Is it just a hard charging freeride competition ski? We don’t think so. It just happened that two of the best skiers in the world made it seem that way. It’s really very much the opposite, an easy going friendly fun to use tool for snow covered mountains. What makes the GPO different? It’s in the shape, the tip and tail tapers and rockers blend perfectly with the sidecut to make for a variety of turn shapes and methods of skiing. Almost like having power steering added to your skis. Carve it, slarve it, go straight, or makes lots of turns, the GPO is ready for whatever you want to do. Relax and enjoy the ride, skiing is easy when you are on the GPO.
The Standard Edition GPO is offered in a #4 flex with a maple ash aspen core. We currently have some stock available with an oak veneer and some with a cherry veneer. The images below show some of the current available stock. Inventory is limited and with the wood veneer tops each ski is unique. If you have a preference on the wood veneer you receive please include the ski stock # from the photos below in the notes on your order.
