Protest

The Protest powder ski has slowly evolved over the last decade and continues to be one of the best powder skis on the market. A unique design, it has the ability to slash and pivot in the deepest snow, yet still hold an edge on the groomers on the way down to the lift. The Protest features a five dimensions sidecut and recurve molding to add a little camber to the shape, adding the necessary edge to handle firmer conditions. The fatter underfoot technology and minimal sidecut provides a balance and float in deep snow that simply makes skiing powder easier.

The Protest uses our stage two rocker profile. The rocker rising slightly higher and faster giving the ski more pivot and float well better matching the rocker profile to the modified 5 point sidecuts tip and tail tapers.

For our latest innovation we have created a new wood core specifically for the Protest ski.  This Hybrid core uses a blend of maple, ash, aspen and paulownia wood.  This new core is a mix of our enduro and ultra light core materials.  The new Hybrid core reduces the weight of the Protest but continues to be a solid and damp ski that can charge and remain stable in mixed conditions.

The Standard Edition Protest is offered in a #3 flex with an ambrosia maple veneer top.
